College newspapers are a great avenue for advertisers 06/06/2002
College newspapers are a great avenue that offers advertisers the ability to reach a young, ambitious and concerned targeted market. Almost all of the college newspapers that exist accept both ROP and inserts. Echo Media can currently place advertisers into campuses across the U.S., including the University of Utah, reaching not only the student population, but faculty and staff members as well. According to Taylor Nelson Sofresis intersearch (released May 29), "College students have been directly affected by the weakened economy, and many of those have changed their behavior accordingly, such as the 50% WHO ARE USING COUPONS FOR BARGAINING SHOPPING." Currently, The Daily Utah Chronicle, home of Openings Issue, is giving advertisers the opportunity to capitalize during this economic downslide. Openings Issue's first issue of the academic year will begin circulating on August 1, 2002. Openings Issue will be directly mailed to transfer and continuing students, faculty and staff members. Here is your chance to establish a devoted college market.
